1 Production Process: Prestressed steel wire is made by the high carbon steel wire rod after the surface treatment ,the carbon content of the steel after the cold draw is in the range of 0.6-0.9. It will go through the acid phosphate or other forms of the surface treatment and the cross-sectional area in general after the cold drawn will be reduced 50%-80%,and increase the strength through the principle of cold hardening.

2Application : strengthen various structures in concrete, and to impose enough stress toenhance the stability of buildings, there are PC wire and PC strand divided according toshape. Which are widely used on the bridges, subway, railway sleepers, poles, dams,nuclear power plants, high-rise buildings and houses, etc.
